Ragusa, Italy now Dubrovnic, Yugoslavia
"Buy This Photo" Ragusa ,Italy The name of the city was officially changed from Ragusa to Dubrovnic in 1921. When I was there back in the 70′s it was known as Yugoslavia, which has since divided and today Dubrovnic is now a city in Croatia, located on the Adriatic Sea. Hope that all makes sense. The city is protected by a couple miles of walls which we climbed around looking for “photo ops”. I did alot of climbing of stairs in Dubrovnic. Along the dark and musty corridors of steep passageways, many of the homes had flowers and plants accenting huge fancy doors. It seems if you have a nice door you must be important or affluent. Just a guess. This little restaurant appeared on one of the many corridors I strolled, and sums up the typical, very old but well-kept city that is..Dubrovnic.
